FRQ NCY unveils a new melodic signature sound with his latest five-track offering

Rising talent FRQ NCY has made a name for himself in the dance music realm with his expert sound design and intriguing releases. Since 2017, the producer has been honing his skills and building his discography including a handful of notable releases on Bassrush. Marking a pivotal moment in his career, FRQ NCY explores a more melodic side with his new EP, “Gems”.

Stirring anticipation for the release, FRQ NCY teased the five-track EP with lead single “Appearances” which emulates a familiar Porter Robinson-esque sound. His studio aptitude is evident across the rest of the EP as he manipulates various instrumentals to craft otherworldly soundscapes. The artwork paired with the release serves as a perfect visual component to his first foray into the realm of melodic.

FRQ NCY commented on the release, “Gems is a project that is really special to me on different levels. It’s the first and only release where the music has grown with me as an artist while I was creating it. The verge of releasing it feels like having a friend that no one else knew, and now other people get to meet them for the first time and that’s an exciting feeling. I hope that people can relate to it on different levels and create their own memories with this project.”

Although FRQ NCY’s latest release explores an entirely new sound, he still demonstrates the same expert sound design that fans have come to know and love. Each of the tracks effortlessly reflects his passion for his craft and leaves fans eager for more new FRQ NCY tunes.
