Why Okeechobee’s Lineup Takes The Cake For Festival Season In 2022 – [Read]

The prestigious, four-day Floridian festival is back and better than ever. With March just five months away, the excitement grows for a lineup that takes the cake in every category.

Since its inaugural edition, the festival has drawn massive crowds and larger-than-life artists. Okeechobee 2016 drew a crowd of more than 30,000 spectators, with headliners: Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex and Mumford & Sons.

A hiatus in 2018 almost shut the festival down, but promotion company, Insomniac Events,  had other plans. In 2020 the beloved festival returned with higher quality production and intricate stages, while keeping its diverse lineup. 

The 2022 edition is already shaping up to be the fest’s best yet, with a lineup that brings something for everybody and then some. Tame Impala, Porter Robinson, Megan Thee Stallion, REZZ and GRiZ all comprise the festival’s biggest names.

In similar fashion, the supporting cast also brings the heat. Fans of hip-hop will be pleased to see Denzel Curry, Ashnikko and Smino grace the stages. While bassheads and experimental electronic music fans will enjoy sets from The Glitch Mob, CloZee, Eprom and 1788-L.

Four days of sunshine, good vibes and ground-shaking music is a winner in any book. We can’t do much else than twiddle our thumbs, buy tickets and count down the days to March 3rd.
