Ophelia Celebrates 100th Release With Mega Collab “Pantheon” -[Listen]

The hottest label in melodic bass released a collab with seven of their their biggest names, all on one track.

Seven Lions‘ melodic bass imprint, Ophelia, has been wildly successful since it’s conception in 2018. At the forefront of the melodic bass movement, Seven Lions has, in large part, helped thrust melodic dub into mainstream music (in a good way)! The likes of Seven Lions, Illenium, Said the Sky, SLANDER, Dabin, and more have revolutionized this unique sound and made electronic music digestable for just about anyone.

This mega collab from the prestigious Ophelia record label does not disappoint, and presents in a surprisingly cohesive way. The collab features the unique respective talents of Blastoyz, Dimibo, Jason Ross, Kill The Noise, Seven Lions, Trivecta, and Wooli, tited “Pantheon”. A fitting title, for such a collab of this magnitude and grandeur.

The track opens with a cinematic soundscape, luring you to fall prey to it’s inviting melodies. “Pantheon” also features six unique drops, each craftily hitting a different vein than the previous drop. The track’s first drop is a fast-paced, hardstyle drop, which sets the tone for the rest of the song. The second drop continues to build on the first drop, adding nuance, layer, and prepares the listener for this wild ride of a track.

The third drop could be considered a more traditional dubstep drop, that’ll get your head banging and your knees jumping. The sheer intensity of this drop compared to the others gives the track a beautiful equilibrium, in which there’s truly something for everyone with this song. The fourth drop, is the signature, tried and true melodic bass soundscape that Ophelia and Seven Lions have so beautifully mastered. I felt this drop was the best, it truly points back to that cinematic theme the track encapsulates.

The fifth and sixth drops are both techno leaning, with high synth effects, and is probably the most unique drop of the 6 in the track. With the “Pantheon” mega collab, Ophelia has kickstarted their tour, and once again cemented why the imprint is one of the biggest names in electronic music.
