DJ Diesel Launches Himself Onto Lost Lands Ravers – [WATCH]

Last weekend, four-time NBA Final champion and dubstep DJ, DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal), crowd-surfed for the first time in his life.

The DJ, known for his backboard-destroying abilities and high energy live sets, jumped over the rail and remained upright over fans for a brief moment. While DJ Diesel is regarded for his rowdiness, no one could predict what would happen next.

Given the spontaneity of the event and size of the former center, the stage dive was short-lived. Less than two seconds after the performer landed on the crowd, fans dropped the big man in anticlimactic fashion. In typical Shaq fashion, the party raged on.

DJ Diesel made his Lost Lands debut in 2018 as one of the festival’s special guests. Since its inception, Lost Lands has claimed the title of “dubstep Superbowl.” The three-day bass experience gives audiences a taste of various bass music subgenres and styles.

Shaq’s “DJ Diesel” project, which debuted live in front of thousands at TomorrowWorld 2015, has also grown significantly. The DJ boasts iconic sets at other major festivals like Tomorrowland and Life in Color.

In addition to dominating stages worldwide, DJ Diesel also spends time refining his production skills. “Moshpit” is the artist’s latest release, which features Nitti Gritti and Ivory.

For Shaq, being the “Biggest DJ in the World” is more than a hobby. When the DJ isn’t blasting unreleased dubstep to the masses, he is busy refining upcoming sets and overseeing his own festival — Shaq’s Fun House.
