RÜFÜS DU SOL Announce Fourth Album ‘Surrender’ And Reveal Single “On My Knees” – [Listen]

RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced their fourth full length album to be released on October 21st. 

The Grammy-nominated live-electronic trio have previously released Solace in 2018, as well as a live recording of their set from Joshua Tree. This album is the first full-length album fans are receiving in 3 years and is incredibly anticipated. 

RÜFÜS DU SOL constantly pushes the boundaries of their music and constantly returns to the their original electronic roots. ‘SURRENDER’ is an album written on their own terms about the world they hope to build via their music. 

The album announcement comes one day before the band is scheduled to perform at NYC’s Governors Ball on Friday Night. Their massive tour lineup this season includes 2 sold out shows at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, as well as festival appearances at Austin City Limits, III Points, and Outside Lands. 

“On My Knees” is the latest single to be released from the new album. It is a brooding insight into RÜFÜS DU SOL‘s darker tendencies, exploring honest emotions and aching lyricism. The track follows the previous single “Next To Me” which was released earlier last month.

The music video accompanying “On My Knees” was filmed during a rehearsal for their Red Rocks Amphitheatre show- the band’s creative director, Alex Katzki, collaborated with Ruff Mercy, an animation director based out of the UK who has worked with other iconic artists and brands such as Disclosure, Run The Jewels, Nike, & Adidas.
