GRAMMY-Nominated Elderbrook Unveils Details For His Forthcoming EP – [Read]

The fruit’s of Elderbrook’s summer and the pandemic’s labor

UK’s beloved Elderbrook has divulged the details of his forthcoming EP, a body of work titled “Innerlight,” with the precursory release of his single “I Will Find My Way To You.” This drop follows the release his prior single, “Inner Light,” a collaboration with electronic music’s Bob Moses. Both of these tracks will be featured on the up-and-coming EP, along with two other enigmatic and undisclosed tracks, which we’ve tipped will feature duo Louis The Child and the Danish DJ Kölsch. 

According to Elderbrook, “The EP is all about how important it is to trust your instincts and believe that you do have the right ideas,” he muses. “That it’s important to follow your own inner light. It represents the journey of self-discovery that I have been on since becoming a father and learning how to navigate that and trust in myself.”

Elderbrook goes on to elaborate, “The last few years I’ve toured the US many times and met and played shows with some amazing artists. Whilst stuck in the UK during lockdown, I wanted to see if I could make some records with some of the artists I love from over there, and all the collaborations on this EP came about by working via a combination of zoom and phone calls and emails.”

As promised, Elderbrook turns lemons into lemonade with his new single, which is light and floaty with a folksy-meets-electronic flair. The lyrics, “I will find my way to you,” repeat endlessly in a chant of positive affirmation and determination. The melody is refreshing and bright, emblematic of 2021’s summer of hopefulness and rebound extraordinaire.

With life slowly, but surely, picking up its pace, Elderbrook has been back on tour, performing at venues such as Lollapalooza and even 2 sold-out shows at Red Rocks. Elderbrook plans to tour across the North Americas, making pit stops in cities such as New York City, Vancouver, Denver, Santa Barbra and more.
