Kelly Zimmerman Supports Deadmau5 As He Joins Rezz On Stage at North Coast – [Read]

While deadmau5 showed his support for Rezz, his ex-wife Kelly Zimmerman showed her support for both of them.

This past weekend, Rezz played a historic set at Chicago’s North Coast festival. To make it even more memorable, she surprised fans by bringing out deadmau5, her longtime friend and mentor. Rezz signed to his mau5trap label in 2016 and has been dropping heaters via the label ever since.

It’s hard to imagine a time when deadmau5 and Rezz didn’t stand on the same pedestal, as Rezz has quickly developed into an international sensation. Her unearthly midtempo style has become easy to recognize and totally representative of her dark, hypnotic brand. 

Rezz and deadmau5 are not only active supporters of each other’s music, they’re now collaborators. Their recent release, “Hypnocurrency”, was played with him on stage at North Coast Music Festival and is still making headlines.

Speaking of headlines, deadmau5 and his now ex-wife have been in the news recently. After four years of marriage, the two announced they would be splitting up over the summer. Although both Joel and Kelly appear to have gone separate ways, Kelly has made it known that deadmau5 is still on her mind. 

In support of deadmau5 and Rezz, Kelly commented “Love this! ❤️️ ❤️️ ❤️️” on Rezz’s Instagram post at the festival. Prior to this, Kelly was spotted wearing her wedding band on multiple occasions. We know it’s over, but we love knowing that these two will always support each other.
