Flume Returns from Year Long Hiatus with Glitchy New Remix – [Listen]
The Australian superstar puts a future bass spin on Danny L Harle’s “On A Mountain.”
Flume fans can rejoice as we get an exciting remix of Danny L Harle’s breakbeat track, “On A Mountain.” The track came from Harle’s debut album, ‘Harlecore,’ which released January 2021. The remix marks the venerated producer’s first release in over a year.
The electronic music tastemaker’s last original release was the GRAMMY nominated track “The Difference” with Toro y Moi. Additionally, he released a fun remix for Eiffel 65’s classic, “Blue,” in June of 2020.

What once was a soundtrack to a “ravetopia” virtual wonderland has been transformed into a zooming bass blast; keeping the ethereal vocals as a compliment to the hyperpop synths. Flume’s distinct presence on the track reminds listeners why his unique style is a step above many of his contemporaries today.
Having spent the majority of the past year diving into the NFT space, Flume’s absence from the music scene has been duly noted from his support. Known for his timeless creations, Flume‘s creativity has resonated across the dance music scene for nearly a decade.
Hopefully this release can be a sign of more music to come from the miraculous Flume, as his last full project came to us two years ago. Be sure to give the track a listen below and check out the trippy visualizer for the song.
