GRiZ Launches Custom Cannabis Lines With Strains Named After His Own Tracks – [Read]

The iconic electronic music producer has announced the official launch of his custom cannabis strains in a new venture.

GRiZ launched two new lines: THC-focused Astro Hippie and the CBD line Telescope. The Astro Hippie line features three different strains: Mr. B OG, G-Funk, and Tie-Dye Medusa. Astro Hippie was developed in collaboration with Michigan-based Pure Options, and will be available in the artist’s home state.

GRiZ is an electronic music producer, famed for his unique electro-funk and future funk style. He is known for playing saxophone along his live sets.

He is incredibly dynamic and has collaborated with artists such as Gramatik, Jauz, and Big Gigantic. GRiZ is also associated with dubstep and hiphop genres, proving his fluidity within the electronic music sphere. With 7 studio albums and countless EPs under his belt, GRiZ has become a mainstay within the EDM community.

GRiZ is set to play major upcoming festivals such Elements, North Coast, Imagine, and Lostlands, as well as has a date for a show at NY’s Brooklyn Mirage. Earlier this year, GRiZ released his latest album Rainbow Brain, and features a track titled, Astro Funk.

The THC-focused line takes its name from the DIY hippie culture, as well as the album track.

The strains are designed for experimenters who want to “launch off”. On the new venture, GRiZ says:
