Deadmau5’ Ex-Wife Kelly Zimmerman Spotted Wearing Her Wedding Band Post-Split – [Read]

Kelly Zimmerman has been killin’ the Instagram game lately, but fans can’t help but notice that she’s still wearing a wedding band.

Joel Zimmerman, a.k.a. deadmau5 and his wife of nearly four years, Kelly Zimmerman announced plans to legally separate in early June. The news came as quite a shock to his fans, as Kelly became such a notable figure in the artist’s inner circle. The couple even spent quarantine streaming together and relaxing by the pool in their Toronto mansion.

Joel and Kelly both expressed their desire to keep the split amicable. Aside from each of their posts announcing the big news, they’ve both avoided commenting any further on the matter.

However, Kelly’s recent Instagram photos have been filled with confidence and self-love. She’s having fun sharing IGTV videos and TikToks, giving fans insight into her day-to-day activities, including her workout and skincare routines. It’s clear she’s on a healing journey, as she even said, “My main goal right now is falling back in love with myself. Staying consistent with my goals and true to my authentic self.”

Since disclosing news of the separation, Kelly has shared more than one photo wearing what is presumably her wedding band from her marriage to Joel. Kelly has expressed her desire for the public to be kind to both her and her now ex-husband throughout this process.

On the other hand, deadmau5 isn’t so much of an Instagram influencer, so it’s hard to tell whether or not he’s ditched the ring yet. We hope both Kelly and Joel are finding peace in their new lives, and we’ll continue to support them both as creators!

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
