Cosmic Gate Reveal Stunning New Album “MOSAIIK” -[Listen]

The legendary German duo is at it again with their latest project, “MOSAIIK”.

Cosmic Gate, the German duo consisting of trance producers Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems released a new album today. “MOSAIIK” is their 10th studio album, including one compilation album in 2011. Cosmic Gate previewed their album on Wednesday, August 18 during a 2 hour rooftop set in NYC, reinforcing all the anticipation for their 10th album. The duo has been active since 1999, with their earlier albums consistently charting all over Europe. 

The duo received a 2018 Grammy nomination for their remix of ‘Only Road‘ by Gabriel & Dresden, becoming the first trance artist nominated in this category. The duo was also consistently in the DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ’s list from 2004-2015. The duo are masterful producers and artists, with work spanning 3 decades. 

Cosmic Gate’s latest project, “MOSAIIK”, is yet another embodiment of their world-class, veteran expertise in trance production. The album opens with ‘Blame’, featuring vocals by Diana Miro. The track provides a dark, inviting soundscape driven by Diana Miro’s entrancing vocals.

The next track, ‘Feel It’, gives more of an upbeat, uplifting crescendo with a tantalizing bassline. The third track, ‘Nothing to Hide’, features Diana Miro, and is the type of track that will have you fall in love with a stranger on the dance floor. ‘Your Mind’ is a truly entrancing, hypnotic like track. 

The fifth track on “MOSAIIK” stood out to me as one of the most enjoyable, vibrant tracks. ‘Summer Wonder’, featuring Mike Schmid‘s vocals, gives a dreamy, nostalgic soundscape, that touches on missing someone and the feeling of being with them. Something we can all relate to! The glittery track crescendos in an upbeat, beautiful beat that will leave you wanting more. 

Another track that really stood out to me was ‘These Dreams’, with Julie Thompson. The track gives a deep, psychedelic sound with beautiful vocals that feel like you’re in a dream. All in all, yet another masterful, comprehensive project from the legendary German duo Cosmic Gate, out now via Black Hole Recordings.
