Grammy-Nominated RÜFÜS DU SOL Dazzle With New Single “Next To Me” – [Read]

Today, the chart-topping Australian trio, RÜFÜS DU SOL, released the second single of 2021. “Next To Me” adds another hit to their complex discography.

“Next To Me” serves as a complementary follow-up to the group’s previous single “Alive”. While “Alive” is a synthesizer-laden track, “Next To Me” places a higher emphasis on deeper percussion.  The latest five-minute song boasts thunderous drums and uplifting vocals.

RÜFÜS DU SOL’s greatest strength is their unrivaled instrumentation. All of their tracks feature uncompromising, high-quality musicianship. From what we’ve listened to so far, we’re certain their next studio album will be an instant hit.

In addition to their stellar studio recordings, RÜFÜS DU SOL also excel at performing. At their shows, one can expect live vocals, drumming, synths and guitar. Their Joshua Tree set stands out as one of their best, which features an otherworldly desert backdrop.

In similar fashion with other traveling artists, RÜFÜS DU SOL will also be touring the U.S. during the coming months. Later this week they will play two sold-out nights at the prestigious Red Rocks venue in Colorado.

Alongside the single release comes a breathtaking music video directed by Osk. The artifically intelligent video spans different landscapes breathing life into the song. The raw emotion of the track blends perfectly with the aesthetically pleasing video.

It seems that with every new release, the legend of RÜFÜS DU SOL grows. “Alive” topped Australia’s Triple J charts with more than 4 million streams since it first released. “Next To Me” is shaping up to surpass those numbers, and become a quintessential summer tune.
