ZHU Drops Eloquent New Track “Monster” With John The Blind – [Listen]

Grammy-nominated artist ZHU taps acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer John The Blind for an uplifting, summer bop.

ZHU opts for a faster track with punchy chords and swaying snare patterns, cutting away from his typical dark and heavy soundscape. This unconventional sound is a true sign of the versatility that the multifaceted artist has to offer. 

Both Zhu and John the Blind managed to contribute in both departments of production and vocals, as John delivered on guitar and Zhu took the lead on the drums. On the other side of the song, John took the lead on vocals with his enchanting verse while ZHU dawned the harmonies and a spiritual falsetto. 

“I wanted to create a summer anthem for the kids who are finally able to go out,” says ZHU.

Considering Zhu’s last project, ‘Dreamland 2021’, released only three months ago, this soulful summer dance hit is a perfect complement to the futuristic sound produced earlier. This release is wonderfully timed before ZHU’s recently announced performances at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Avant Gardener in Brooklyn.
