Zeds Dead’s House Heater “Alive” with MKLA is the Summer Anthem -[Listen]

Our favorite dubstep, dnb, and now house duo has dropped some summer heat for our waiting ears. 

The Canadian pair have remained at the forefront of the electronic music scene for years now – first gaining popularity in 2009. Zeds Dead’s newest single, “Alive”, featuring MKLA further cements this legacy and adds a shiny little gem to their sprawling discography. 

The groovy deep house tune is a true showcase of the versatility and masterfulness that is Zeds Dead. In addition to recent dnb sets, their Catching Z’s mixtape, and other experimental projects, nobody is doing it like Zeds Dead

This single dropped ahead of their two night stand, July 2nd and 3rd, at Red Rocks, dubbed ‘DeadRocks’. The duo called upon MKLA for her cosmic, club worthy vocals that are well renowned within the electronic music community. 

The track invokes a late night, deep, gritty feel, perfect for a summer drive or a late night set upon a picturesque mountaintop. Zeds Dead has always been industry innovators, genre-benders, and overall elite tier producers and this latest dip into the house scene plays to all their skills and experiene.

The release came head of their anticipated DeadRocks shows, July 2nd and 3rd, supported by Blunts and Blondes, Delta Heavy, Zeke Beats, Sippy, Chomppa, Kill the Noise, Eprom, GG Magree, Chee, and Nostalgix. The two night stand  comes as their 7th annual DeadRocks, following a cancellation in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.
