Christian Ariza, professionally known as Rad Cat, has been honing his groovy signature style since his debut in the dance music scene. The first generation Mexican-American DJ draws inspiration from SG Lewis, Madeon, Porter Robinson while incorporating upbeat elements of pop and house into his releases. His music career started at a young age when the San Diego native took an affinity for the electric guitar. From there, he went on to pursue music production and eventually signing remixes to Sony and Universal Music before the age of 20.
In 2017, Rad Cat made his live debut at CRSSD in San Diego and his career has only flourished since then. Notable releases include “Diamond” with Gloria Kim on Dim Mak and self-released tune “alright”. Most recently, the budding producer released collaborative single “Replay” with indie vocalist Skyler Cocco. Designed with the dancefloor in mind, the latest single from Rad Cat portrays all the best qualities he has become known for.
