Liquid Stranger Joins Forces With LUZCID For SSKWAN Debut “Snow Melt” – [LISTEN]

Label Boss Liquid Stranger enlists WAKAAN mainstay LUZCID to beat the summer heat with melodic masterpiece “Snow Melt”.

Although Liquid Stranger created SSKWAN as WAKAAN’s downtempo parallel, this marks his first time releasing on the label. It’s no surprise that the artist reached out to his longtime friend and freeform bass legend LUZCID to help him make his big debut. Plus, this wouldn’t be LUZCID’s first introduction to SSKWAN, as his track “Lightstream” gained massive recognition via the label earlier in the year.

“Snow Melt” is both an introspective yet otherworldly experience, something that both artists have been known to harness with their music. From the moment it opens up with psychedelic sounds of nature, the track encourages relaxation, mediation, and elation in the minds of listeners. Each water drop propells listeners deeper within their own minds yet farther into a sonic dreamland.

Marking his third offering of the year, “Snow Melt” is reminicent of Liquid Stranger’s chill-out tune “Dissolve”, which received massive praise in his earlier years and is still a fan-favorite to this day. In addition to spending tons of time in the studio, the genre-bending producer will be making a slew of festival appearances across North America this summer, including EDC Las Vegas and Electric Zoo

Liquid Stranger has also been busy curating a never-ending supply of music from some of the most sought-after artists in the experimental bass realm via his labels, WAKAAN and SSKWAN. Artists on his radar include Buku, Mize, INZO, Au5, Mersiv, LSDREAM, Champagne Drip, and Headphone Activist.

Another producer who permeates the boundaries of various genres, LUZCID strives to create music that unites people. In doing so, he offers sounds that are nothing short of blissful auditory adventures. Just last year he shared his mind-bending ‘Luminescent’ EP with fans, defending his role as an influential figure in the bass music scene.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
