Seven Lions And His Wife + Girlfriend Prepare For Festival Season With A Road Trip – [Read]

Seven Lions shares an adorable photo from his two-week West Coast trip with his wife and their girlfriend.

Even our favorite DJs are taking this time ahead of the 2021 festival season to rest and gear up for the months of shows and performances to come. Now that mask mandates and travel restrictions are being lifted, it’s the perfect time to squeeze in a vacation or two before the festival industry makes its comeback.

Seven Lions shows off his recent vacation with a photo of himself, Emma, and Courtney at Redwood National Park in Northern California. His caption reads, “West coast trip wrapped. This was one of the best trips I’ve ever had. Two weeks with loose plans and a destination with really good friends along the way. 2020 definitely made me want to take the time to enjoy my life a little more and this was a great start.”

2020 was difficult for everyone, especially musicians who were practically out of work and experiencing creative confines. Seven Lions spoke out about how 2020 was “demotivating” for his career. However, the artist ended up producing one of his most sought-after EPs, ‘1999’, a trance remix collection.

With several festivals booked as early as September and a Red Rocks show in July, Seven Lions is gearing up to return to the scene with full force. However, just because he hasn’t been playing shows that doesn’t mean he’s taken a break from music. The beloved artist recently dropped multiple collabs and continues to run his Ophelia label.

We love to see our favorite thruple getting out of the spotlight and enjoying nature while they can. Hopefully, their two week trip was a refreshing and inspiring one.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
