WHY THE EDC LAS VEGAS LINEUP WINS FESTIVAL SEASON 2021 -[READ]

Electronic Daisy Carnival will be back this October 22-24 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and the lineup is STACKED.

Insomniac Event‘s frontrunner EDC Las Vegas is the industry leading festival and will be returning this October, following a late May cancellation that left festival goers confused and upset. With only 2-3 weeks before the original May EDC dates were supposed to get underway, the lineup had yet to be released, and uncertain ticket holders were left to question Insomniac and the company’s CEO, Pasquale Rotella.

Despite the May EDC debacle, Insomniac promised ticket holders their May tickets would be honored for the new dates, October 22-24. And the lineup they released last week, is without a doubt the most fire we’ve seen yet. It’s stacked top to bottom, day in and day out with the best of the best from every sub-genre of electronic music.

Friday starts off EDC right with house music giants like Claptone, Dombresky, Don Diablo, Alesso, The Martinez Brothers, Tchami, Zhu, and many more. Friday also features melodic bass tastemakers Seven Lions, Said the Sky, and NGHTMRE. Rising talents GG Magree, John Summit, Moore Kismet, Loud Luxury, Wuki, and others to keep your eye on in the future will also be playing on the first night of festivities. For all my neckbreakers, Friday will feature ATLiens, Excision, Flosstradamus, a dirty Jauz b2b with PEEKABOO, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Nitti Gritti, and more. Friday will also feature our girl Alison Wonderland, as well as a unique b2b with Kayzo and Knife Party at the Basspod stage. The inclusion of Knife Party is huge for old heads in the scene, and Kayzo even tweeted about how much an inspiration Knife Party was for him to start making music.

Saturday’s lineup includes a throwback 12th Planet set, AC Slater, Deadmau5 (who is also performing as Testpilot on Friday), a house set b2b with Diplo and Lee Foss, DJ Snake, an Excision detox set, SLANDER, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, and many, many more industry heavy hitters. Saturday will also include a SVDDEN Death: Voyd set, which are well known for his artistic incorporation of borderline satanic, demonic imagery and sounds. A Voyd set is not something you will ever want to miss, it’s unlike anything any artist is doing right now, all carefully created by the demon king Danny aka SVDDEN DEATH.

Closing out the festival will be a house heavy day, with ARTBAT, Eric Prydz, a JOYRYDE DnB set, Knife Party, Kaskade, Kygo, Lane 8, Nina Kraviz, Walker & Royce, Wax Motif, and many more of the best of the best. On the more heavy hitting side, personal favorites Rezz, Liquid Stranger, and Subtronics, as well as other industry heavy hitters Malaa, Marauda, Snakehips, Slander b2b Said the Sky, Troyboi, Zedd, and more.

With the most stacked lineup of the year, the biggest electronic music festival in the world other than Tomorrowland will certainly not disappoint. EDC will be back and better than ever, coming out of the tail end of the pandemic.
