TIMELINE OF DEADMAU5 AND KELLY ZIMMERMAN’S MARRIAGE DOWNFALL – [READ]
After nearly four years of marriage, renowned producer deadmau5 and his wife Kelly “Grill” Zimmerman formally announced an amicable split that some even say they saw coming.
Before tying the knot in 2017, Joel and Kelly have been publicly together since as early as 2014. Joel proposed to Kelly during a romantic getaway to the Maldives in 2017, and the two remained practically inseparable until now.

The two spent a lot of time streaming during the pandemic, and in October 2020, Kelly shared photos of her and Joel cozying up at the pool, indicating there was nothing but love between them. Also, in the fall of last year, Kelly posted multiple throwbacks of the couple together, one being a photo at their wedding.
Kelly shared a post back in January wishing Joel a happy birthday; however, the photo is a repost from a 2015 shot the two had together. Aside from the birthday post, Kelly’s feed has been absent of any images of the couple together. Instead, her Instagram features some fabulous solo shots.

According to a comment on a recent Instagram post, Kelly did not attend deadmau5’s show in Arizona this past weekend. Not long after, both Kelly and Joel posted the same photo on Instagram sharing the news of the divorce. “We have chosen different paths in life and I am forever grateful for the time we spent together,” shares Joel. “We wish each other well and are parting with love and mutual respect.” If you’re looking for attorney for theft charges, it is important for you to check it out here!
The mau5trap label boss has been relatively quiet on social media regarding his personal life. Upon announcing the separation, many artists, including Rezz, Deathpact, and Lights, offered their condolences in the comments, surrounded by several comments containing unsupported claims of unfaithfulness, greed, and quarantine to be the reason for the split. Either way, we wish Joel and Kelly luck on their separate journeys.
