FANS THROW HATE AT SLANDER AFTER FAILED TRANSITION VIDEO SURFACES – [WATCH]

Slander catches negative feedback on a recent set played at Sunset Music Festival via Twitter.

This past Memorial weekend hosted one of first music festivals back since the start of the pandemic. Sunset Music Festival in Tampa, Florida brought out big name artists like AC Slater, Adventure Club, Chris Lorenzo, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Troyboi and more.

Amongst these hard-hitters were fan favorite DJ group, Slander. However, the duo caught heat on Twitter for what some are calling a rocky song transition. In the video below, Slander transitions from “Potions (Slander & Bossfight Remix)” into Dekoy by DJ Yoked.

EDM Twitter was quick to share their negative opinions online, while fans defended Slander explaining that even major artists make mistakes from time to time. For the first major festival back, are people being too harsh or is it acceptable to expect more from headlining artists?

Other DJs showed their support to Slander while cracking jokes and poking fun at the critics.

Even currently retired Dubloadz chimes in about returning to the scene and to laugh at the haters. DJing is easier criticized than done and fellow artists understand the frustration in expecting perfect performances.

What do you think of Slander’s mishap? Is it a big deal or is it okay to let DJs know your unwarranted opinions even if they’re harsh?
