LOLLAPALOOZA IS RETURNING THIS SUMMER WITH A SMASHING LINE-UP – [READ]

The famed, four-day, music festival is set to return to Grant Park in Chicago from July 29th through August 1st.

As music festivals are finally able to wrap up their year hiatus due to the pandemic, many have had their eyes set on the fall to bring back live events. Lollapalooza is shooting earlier than most of the pack with a stacked line-up set to take place at the end of July.

The headliners of the festival are Post Malone, Tyler, the Creator, Foo Fighters, and Miley Cyrus, with support from an eclectic mix of artists. Other major acts sure to bring the heat are Journey, Dababy, and Megan Thee Stallion. While this may seem like a place with not much room for electronic music, going down a few lines of the line-up reveals some wonderful DJs and producers.

Notable electronic artists that will be at the Chicago festival are Marshmello, Tchami, Dombresky, Dr. Fresch, and Illenium. For people with a taste for bass music, attendees will be able to see performances from Alison Wonderland, Slander, Jauz, and Subtronics

In a line-up that seems to never end, it is nice to see the rising talent with their names in the smaller print. Fan favorites, Brownies and Lemonade All-Stars will be bringing a few DJs that always seem to get the crowd moving. CID is another house artist set to perform and will likely deliver an unforgettable set.

The event is currently expected to function at full capacity, which in alliance with previous years, could have over 100,000 fans in attendance each day. One safety regulation that the festival is taking is requiring either a vaccine or negative covid test within 24 hours of the day of attendance.

Tickets went on sale Wednesday, May 19th, with most 1st tier-level tickets sold out. However, fans can still grab tickets at the next price level from Lollapalooza’s website. Tickets range in premium from 4-Day GA, GA+, VIP, and Platinum. Likely to all be gone in no time, fans should consider snagging one before they’re all gone.
