Treat your ears to an Exron Exclusive premiere of TORSADES‘ glitchy bass banger, “Answers.”

The trailblazing trio returns, firing on all cylinders, just three weeks after the arrival of their debut song. “Answers” marks TORSADES’ first release via Los Angeles-based FU DOG Music, and the imprint’s fourth of the year.

The speaker-pounding track perfectly encompasses all of the qualities that set TORSADES apart from day one, and showcases the ethereal sounds that are making waves in the electronic music community.

The group’s infectious sound is the product of three distinct artists working in harmony to create a fresh multi-genre experience. Each one brings their own flair to the track, further complementing other’s contributions.

Whereas the group opted for multiple vocalists on their last effort, Haiki is the sole singer this time around. The stylistic choice makes for an instrument-driven tune, emphasizing the trio’s extensive production chops.

To dismiss “Answers” as just a dance-pop anthem or future bass track fails to account for its trap-influenced drops and glassy synthesizers. The tune is the epitome of everything that gives its electronic music its groove and replay-ability.

Artists Eazy and Samm recount going for an RL Grime-inspired bass, and processing Haiki’s vocals to make it seem as if the singer is speaking to listeners from another world. Even after multiple listens, we discover new details hidden beneath the intricate layers of sound.
