JAUZ AND HALIENE DROP SINGLE WHILE ADVOCATING FOR OCEAN ACTIVISM – [LISTEN]

JAUZ AND HALIENE WANT TO SAVE THE SHARKS

Despite the world’s current predicament, Jauz has had one heck of a year. From launching his own cryptocurrency, $BTX Coin, which is focused on championing the voices of emerging artists, to releasing new music, and even helming his weekly talk show, In The Tank… It’s safe to say he’s been a busy guy. HALIENE, EDM-angel-voice-powerhouse, has also been staying active, regularly streaming on Twitch as well as performing at events like Dreamworld and Dreamstate.

According to HALIENE, the song was inspired by the loneliness we all felt during the pandemic, and especially during the peak moments of quarantine. “I wrote these lyrics to remind us all that love knows no distance, and even 10,000 miles will never be too far.” When speaking on her collaboration with Jauz, HALIENE had nothing but kind, warm things to say. “Working with Jauz has been an absolute joy and honor, and he’s one of the nicest and most real producers out there. We’ve put our heart and souls into this one for all of you, and we can’t wait for you to experience it.”

Jauz

On April 22, to commemorate Earth Day, Jauz and HALIENE have announced that they will stream on Monstercat’s Twitch channel for philanthropic pursuits, hosting a charity livestream benefiting the not-for-profit organization “Beneath The Waves.” This organization is determined to spread love of the ocean, marine conservation awareness and activism, as well as biology and science. Their hope is to champion a wave of ocean policy focused on shark conservation and protective legislation. While hosting the event, Jauz and HALIENE plan on remixing “Oceans & Galaxies” live, with an acoustic spin.

When commenting on the drop, Jauz said, “We wrote the song together on one of my streams and the way it came together was so effortless. ‘Oceans and Galaxies’ is something that still feels like a Jauz song, but that fans are looking forward to hearing during a live show not because they want to head bang but because they want to sing along to the chorus.”

And even still, we look forward to head-banging to it nonetheless, one day when the world is healed and we can all be together again.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
