GORGON CITY STUNS FANS WITH NEW SINGLE AND ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT – [LISTEN]

British house music duo, Gorgon City, astonished fans with a new single, “Tell Me It’s True,” and forthcoming album Olympia, via Astralwerks. Their third album is set to release on June 25th, 2021, and it will be their first in three years.

“Tell Me It’s True” features ethereal vocals, a relentless bass-line and groovy piano. The nearly-5 minute track provides fans with a sneak peek of the duo‘s future musical direction. The chopped vocals complement the bouncy plucks, giving the song a melancholic mood. We expect this low-key heater to dominate house stages later this year.

The daring new project is characterized by a blend of 90s house music styles and 2021 sound design. Olympia draws inspiration from Greek mythology, and is guaranteed to provide an epic listening experience. The album boasts an 18-track length, including collaborations with: Josh Barry, Sofi Tukker, DRAMA and many more.

Olympia‘s creation was an anomaly. Gorgon City members Kye and Matt produced the entire album from separate continents. Kye moved to the home city of house music, Chicago, while Matt resided in London. Time zones and technical delays were no match for the duo’s dedication.

Gorgon City’s longevity is a testament to their great music and live presence. Almost a decade since the project’s creation, the duo has sold more than 10 million singles and accrued more than 1.5 billion streams. Most of their tunes are previewed live before they’re featured on albums, further solidifying their live sound.
