DON DIABLO DROP’S WORLD FIRST NFT FULL CONCERT AND SELLS FOR $1.3MILLION – [READ]

HOUSE GURU DEBUTS NFT COLLAB AND SELLS FOR SMALL FORTUNE

Don Diablo, Dutch DJ and and producer, just released the world’s first ever NFT full length concert, a Sci-Fi animation experience titled “Destination Hexagonia.” Although this may be the world’s first NFT full-length concert, it’s not Diablo’s first NFT experimentation. Don’s first NFT piece, titled Genesis, sold for $200,000 USD last month, and although his team was bullish on this most recent project’z return, it did not hit par – instead, the only physical copy of Destination: Hexagonia sold for 600 ETH, which translates to approximately $1,381,074. According to cryptoart.io, this makes Destination: Hexagonia the fifth most valuable digital art piece sold in NFT history.

For those unfamiliar with the world of crypto, NFT, or “non fungible token,” is the merging of valuable concepts, art pieces, ideas, perceptions, and digital currency. NFTs are verifiable, authenticated assets auctioned via what’s called a “block chain.” As of late, NFTs have been making headlines due to crypto currency’s steady increase in interest and optimism from investors, commoners, and entrepreneurs who all support the “democratization” of capital.

Don has really taken interest in the NFT space due to his love of art and all things Sci-Fi. When he was initially approached by members of the NFT community, he was immediately interested in developing crypto art. “My GΞNΞSIS drop went beyond all my expectations, and that really inspired me. I immediately felt such a warm welcome into the NFT community, and with that feel a responsibility to continue to push things further into the future and keep disrupting status quo,” commented Diablo. “At this point we almost feel like this particular piece has become priceless because we worked on it for almost a year and put an incredible amount of love and effort into it.”

As promised by Don, a portion of the profits will fund Don’s HEXAGON Foundation, which aims to give back to the NFT community by sponsoring, minting, sharing, and creating digital art.
