FANS SPECULATE IF 1788-L COULD BE A PORTER ROBINSON ALIAS – [READ]

1788-L teases new music with a graphic that has people trying to figure out who the anonymous artist is.

1788-L restarted their social media presence by posting a teaser of their new website with the caption, “R E S T A R T / R E Q U I R E D.” The graphic featured a countdown lasting 24 hours and a link to the artist’s newsletter.

Only a few days after, 1788-L delivered another post that announced, “Welcome to the 1788-L Control Terminal. (BETA TEST).” The image showed a split feature of what seems to be Technic Angel and Pathselector, two characters who make up Virtual Self.

While it’s not official that 1788-L is Porter Robinson, many have begun to speculate the identity of the unknown producer.  The artist rose to fame after they released a remix of Virtual Self’s “Particle Arts.”

Fans also picked up on the talented artist with their collaboration with Rezz on, “H E X.” This booming bass track helped 1788-L land a number of huge sets and a collaborative track with Illenium, Said the Sky, and Kerli.

With such a fast rise to fame, many have questioned if this is a new talent or well-planned alias. Some other possible producers who could be using the alias are Zeds Dead or Stonewall Klaxon.

While a new musical project has not been announced, It is likely that this reinvigorated social media presence is likely to lead to new music. Be sure to check out the artist’s previous tracks at the links below.
