SEVEN LIONS’ WIFE AND GIRLFRIEND AKA GEM & TAURI GEAR UP FOR FIRST SHOW OF 2021 – [READ]

Gem & Tauri, comprised of the wife and girlfriend of Seven Lions, announce details for their first live event of the year.

The female DJ duo took it to social media to share details of their first live show of the year with fans. The brunch-style event will take place from 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM at The Midway in San Francisco on Sunday, April 11. In compliance with statewide COVID-19 safety guidelines, the show will take place outdoors with distanced seating.

In order to attend the event, fans will need to purchase a table that seats up to four. The event is 21+, and VIP options are available as well.

Courtney and Emma, a.k.a. Gem & Tauri, first emerged at the end of 2019, which is around the same time their adorable relationship thruple with Seven Lions went public. The duo is known for their melodic house and techno sound that brings serious energy to the stage. Plus, it’s no surprise that these ladies have found their home on Ophelia.

Gem & Tauri released their debut EP, ‘All You Need’ this past September, which acted as the first full-blown house EP that Ophelia Records has ever seen. A departure from the label’s usual melodic house style, the collection represented new beginnings for the label and for the artist duo.

In addition to gearing up for the upcoming show, Gem & Tauri have been putting out new music, guest mixes, hitting virtual stages, and appearing on Seven Lions’ Twitch stream. Hopefully, the show at Midway represents the first of many for the remainder of 2021.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
