WHY INSOMNIAC’S NEW TECHNO AND HOUSE FESTIVAL IS GOING TO CHANGE THE FLORIDA MUSIC SCENE – [READ]

Los Angeles-based electronic dance music titan Insomniac Events’ Factory 93 brand have just recently announced Skyline, a new techno, tech-house, & house music festival at Orlando’s The Vanguard’s Lot 54 venue, set for May 28th and 29th.

Insomniac Events‘ East Coast division is back with yet another exciting festival announcement for 2021! The revered dance music entity has been announcing several new festivals within the last year, such as Day Trip, Abduction, Lost In Dreams, and now the techno & house extravaganza Skyline. Overall, Insomniac has really been delivering, providing fans and festival-goers a slew of upcoming raves that’ll get just about anyone excited for this long-awaited impending festival season.

With a wholly unprecedented year due to COVID-19, the music industry has had to make major changes. Pivoting from their typical festival formula each year, Insomniac has recently formed Insomniac TV where they broadcast weekly DJ performances either from their L.A.-based studio or remotely.

Electric Mile is another conduit through which Insomniac has been seeing immense success monetarily, and features production and theming from the company’s lineup of festival brands. It wasn’t a huge surprise, however, that they’d eventually foray back into the festival game with time! Insomniac’s Halloween festival at Lot 54, Boo! (held last October), was also laid out much the same as Skyline in terms of COVID-19 precautions, however, some on Twitter reported no mask-wearing at the event, as well as no overall preventative infrastructure to make the event as COVID-19 safe as possible, when Insomniac announced Skyline — similar feedback has also recently occurred with the Abduction announcement.

It’s worth highlighting that as the pandemic is still occurring and not everyone has been fully vaccinated at the present moment, one could possibly still contract the virus at the event so the utmost precaution is suggested before moving forward with purchasing tickets. The event will be limited capacity, will require masks, and will have temperature checks on-site, as well.

In all, the festival should be a really great time, and a great way to ring in Memorial Day weekend this year. For more information regarding tickets, make sure to head over to the official ticketing partner’s listing, Eventbrite, in order to grab your passes now. At the event, festivalgoers will revel in two days of techno and house music magic, soundtracked by some of the genre’s finest, such as Blond:ish, DJ Tennis, Lee Foss, Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, The Martinez Brothers, Eli Escobar, Serge Devant, Sacha Robotti, and many more.
