SPACE JESUS ADMITS TO HAVING RELATIONS WITH A MINOR; FILES LAWSUIT -[READ]

Space Jesus has filed a lawsuit alleging defamation, harassment, and stalking against his former partner and accuser.

The bass artist, whose legal name is Jasha Tull, has returned to social media to address the various claims made upon him that began June 2020. He also announced that he is filing a lawsuit against his former partner and accuser, Michaela Higgins. The post discussed a lawsuit that he would be filing for monetary damages and injunctive relief in relation to claims of defamation, harassment, and stalking. Many of the statements came from the Instagram account, @evidenceagainstspacejesus.

The post also features an extensive telling of his love for electronic music and how problematic the industry has been in the past. He noted that the dance music world comes with “issues of safety, consent and substance use.”

Tull then followed this by illustrating his support for victims of sexual assault, mentioning that he is an “unwavering supporter of women’s rights” and believes that false allegations are harmful to all people, especially victims.

Some people found the post to be untimely, as he uploaded to Twitter and Instagram on International Women’s Day. This caused his comments section to be fairly divided; with some supporting him and his attempt to escape the abusive relationship and others criticizing him for delivering an unsatisfying remark.

At the end of the statement, Tull explains the relationship that he had with Higgins, stating that it was consensual and healthy in 2016. After some time, the relationship evolved and he stated that Higgins “admitted to threatening [him] numerous times.” According to the piece, he has attempted to resolve the situation outside the court of law, but she would “sometimes feign agreement, only to renew contact” and deliver more threats.
