NGHTMRE AND KLAXX TEAM UP FOR “FALLING” ON GUD VIBRATIONS – [LISTEN]

Today, Gud Vibrations label co-founder, NGHTMRE, and melodic bass maverick, KLAXX, joined forces to release a vocal-heavy, trap-inspired dubstep anthem — “Falling.”

The collaboration marks both artists’ first studio release of the year, and reminds us that the wait was definitely worth it. Listeners can expect a three-and-a-half minute showcase of NGHTMRE’s production chops, complemented by KLAXX’s uplifting melodies. Additionally, this is KLAXX’s second major release following his debut on Proximity last summer.

2020 proved to be a very eventful year for the dance music tastemaker and label co-leader. NGHTMRE collaborated with multiple artists from all ends of the music industry. A few stand-out productions included projects with: Trippie Redd, Galantis, Boogie T and Subtronics. Similarly, KLAXX underwent a busy release schedule that included multiple singles, an EP and multiple joint efforts with other artists.

On the performance side of things, the Gud Vibrations tastemaker also kept fans company during quarantine via multiple livestreams. NGHTMRE took part in Proximity’s “Digital Mirage” online fest, Lollapalooza’s summer stream, and Gud Vibrations’ “Virtual Vibes 2020” broadcast. The latter featured a large, Medusa-themed pyrotechnic stage filmed in a nighttime desert setting.

Gud Vibrations is an imprint that has become synonymous with uncovering bass music talent and sharing the creatives’ work with the masses. Given how well KLAXX’s sound aligns with the label’s tastes, we are sure this is the beginning of a exciting relationship between the two parties.

Similarly, NGHTMRE’s experience with live productions and streams during the pandemic gives us hope for what might come during the exciting new year. Make sure to keep your eyes on these two, there’s no telling what stages they’ll headline when shows return for good. Listen to “Falling”:
