RED ROCKS ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR LOW-CAPACITY SHOWS IN APRIL – [READ]

Red Rocks plans to bring back outdoor space and a schedule for shows by April 2021.

The infamous Red Rocks Amphitheater experienced similar troubles that other venues across the world have struggled through due to the impact of COVID-19 and having to reschedule concerts to a later date or cancel the shows entirely.

However, Red Rocks is making a comeback. According to the Amphitheater’s Twitter page and KKTV, Denver’s CBS affiliate, the beloved venue will release an exciting announcement about concerts and entertainment schedules in April.

While Red Rocks did say that this will not be a “normal” summer, the COVID-19 numbers are improving and their community is “getting back to the business of fun.” This includes a plan for the amphitheater’s 80th anniversary.

Along with this, Red Rocks posted on their site that Galantis and 3LAU, who were supposed to perform on April 24, 2020, are rescheduled for April 23, 2021, and that the tickets bought a year prior are still valid.

For concerts that were canceled, people should receive a full refund within 30 days.

According to TheKnow, Denver Arts and Venues asked the Colorado Health Department for permission to host 2,500 people at Red Rocks this spring and maybe, even more, this summer. At full capacity, the venue can hold up to 9,500 people. Due to coronavirus regulations, parties will have to stay 6 feet away from one another, wear masks and Red Rocks plans to change how people enter and exit the venue.

Some upcoming EDM concerts posted on the venues site are:

Galantis and 3Lau on April 23

Hippie Sabotage on May 6

Global Dub Festival (Liquid Stranger, Subtronics and Herobust) on May 15

Glass Animals on June 15 and 16

Zeds Dead on July 2 and 3

Rainbow Kitten Surprise on July 12 and 13

While all of these shows are still valid, the schedule could change and we will find out after the announcement in April if shows will be added. Red Rocks also tweeted on February 5, that this will be a rolling process with factors based on the community’s progress with COVID-19.
