ALPHA 9 DROPS HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED REMIX OF ABOVE & BEYOND’S 2006 CLASSIC “GOOD FOR ME” – [LISTEN]

ALPHA 9 is back on the release radar with an exhilarating 2021 rework of Above & Beyond’s “Good For Me”, featuring the heavenly vocals of Zoë Johnston.

Artem Stoliarov is back once again to bring the masses more ALPHA 9 sonic magic with his latest reinterpretation of venerated trance trio Above & Beyond’s hit single “Good For Me” with Zoë Johnston. It directly follows his ALPHA 9 project’s 6-track ‘Stellar’ EP from December of last year, and is out now on Anjunabeats available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

Initially released as the tenth track on 2006’s ‘Tri-State’, “Good For Me” has since gone on to become a staple in the Anjuna community, essentially serving as one of Above & Beyond’s most beloved and well-known classic songs. Celebrating its fifteenth anniversary next month, this rework could not have come at a better time!

Ringing in the new year the right way, it also marks ALPHA 9’s first musical endeavor of 2021. It immediately kicks off with the soothing nature soundscape we’ve all come to know and love, quickly followed by the rich vocal of Above & Beyond’s longtime collaborator Zoë Johnston.

After taking its time to resonate and evoke palpably nostalgic emotion, it introduces newfound trance elements into the sonic space. This truly brings the track to life and makes one feel as if they’re floating above the clouds. Feelgood trance as its finest, the “Good For Me” remix is singlehandedly one of the best pieces of work ALPHA 9 has ever put out.

A spiritual successor to ALPHA 9’s 2018 rework of “My Own Hymn”, both stand on their own as faithful renditions of some of Above & Beyond’s greatest singles to-date.
