TWO LANES LINK UP WITH KWESI FOR NEW DAZZLING SINGLE “ANOTHER TIME” – [LISTEN]

Berlin-based brother DJ duo TWO LANES join forces with multifaceted musician Kwesi to release “Another Time”

TWO LANES return with their sophomore sonic offering of 2021, “Another Time” featuring the vocal talent of Kwesi. It directly follows their single “Phases”, released at the end of this January to much critical acclaim. Out now on bitbird, “Another Time” is available to check out on your choice of streaming platform.

Written as a sequel to their June-released tune “Never Enough”, the thematic elements at play throughout its predecessor are very much so intact here, as well. The concept of longing for things we desire was the foundation for “Never Enough”, and “Another Time” simply builds on this by furthering the discourse, stating that maybe the things we so desperately chase are not meant for us at the moment.

The contemplatively soothing track begins with Kwesi’s hushed vocal, serving as a prime counterpart to the flowing, atmospheric electronic production elements. Throughout its entirety, it effortlessly evokes a sense of calm introspection that takes its time to settle with the listener.

Kwesi’s vocal propels the tune forward, accompanied by a shimmering downtempo flair. In all, the heartfelt message the three set out to convey with “Another Time” was audibly executed flawlessly here by all involved.
