GRIZ LIFTS SPIRITS WITH FRESH SINGLE, “VIBE CHECK” – [LISTEN]

Earlier today, Michigan-born Grant Kwiecinski (GRiZ) dropped soulful “Vibe Check”, poised to put a spring in the step of every electronic music and hip-hop fan. The electrifying new track kicks off the artist’s 2021 in style.

The just under 3-minute tune is a pleasure to groove to from the opening wonky bass note to the very last drum hit. Like the title implies, “Vibe Check” is the talented producer’s way of checking in on listeners, through a medium he is passionate about.

The highly-anticipated release comes at a time where thousands are still processing the events of last year, and beginning to recover from its effects. “Vibe Check” is comprised of soul, bass and energy — a perfect recipe for good vibes and relaxation.

Kwiecinski kept fans company during 2020 with several memorable releases including: the third installment of his ‘Chasing The Golden Hour’ mixtape, two ‘Bangers.Zip‘ EPs and a remix album. Among the various songs, one of the most heartfelt was “Medusa,” a pride anthem released during last June. The track features Wreckno’s vibrant vocals and GRiZ’s funky beats. When he wasn’t in the studio, Kwiecinski established himself as a memorable Twitch streamer and YouTube presence through his various recordings, live sets and other audiovisual content.

In addition to spreading messages of love and acceptance through his productions, GRiZ also showed his humanitarian side last year. Kwiecinski became an advocate for the LGBTQ community after partnering with Dan Savage’s ‘It Gets Better’ project.

Through music, livestreams and other content, GRiZ has established himself as a fan favorite. The warmhearted DJ spreads a positive message with every song, performance and action. This performer will be one to watch this year, and when festivals return.
