Industry heavyweight Carl Nicholson kicks off the new year with hard-hitting trance offering “Determine Your Life”, out now on Aly & Fila’s Future Sounds of Egypt Recordings.

Established trance stalwart Carl Nicholson is back with “Determine Your Life”, yet another ruthlessly unyielding trance gem from the esteemed British DJ/producer. His latest serves as his sophomore release via Cairo-based duo Aly & Fila’s Future Sounds of Egypt Recordings, following up he and Irish talent Paul Skelton’s October-released collaborative single “Eternity”. It also is released on the coattails of his highly-successful album ‘Reverent’ from last September. Out now, “Determine Your Life” is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

The fierce original production immediately kicks off with a propelling beat and rhythm, accompanied by serrated synths and a rising, palpable tension. The buildup takes its time, and is paired alongside a vocal cut taken from an exchange between characters Miranda Wells and Bray Johnson from the 2020 hit film ‘The Secret: Dare to Dream’, based on the 2006 self-help book. A perfect tie-in to the track, it truly relays the overall theming and ambiance set forth by Nicholson.
