FANS SPECULATE THAT REZZ AND LUCII SILENTLY SPLIT UP – [READ]

Although neither artist has made a statement, Rezz and Lucii’s social media accounts suggest these two have gone their separate ways.

It was around this time last year that Rezz and Lucii became EDM’s favorite couple. Rezz, an artist who has been in the spotlight for years, began dating rising star and Wakaan frequenter, Lucii. As two of the most influential female DJs in the scene, fans absolutely could not get enough of the thought of these two pursuing a relationship together.

The happy couple received massive support from their respective fan groups, who came together to celebrate the budding relationship. Rezz and Lucii quickly became EDM’s most beloved couple, saturating social media with sappy posts and adorable photos together.

A mau5trap mainstay, Rezz has been focusing on furthering her career with new music throughout the pandemic. Her brand is set apart by dark, distorted bass that leaves listeners dumbfounded after just one track. Her first release of 2021 is appropriately titled “Sacrificial” and is a collaboration with PVRIS.

Meanwhile, Lucii has had some exciting news for her fans. She’s recently shared to Twitter that she is making major life milestones, including moving to a new city and working on a new album. Although the artists have been very open on social media about their lives and careers, both have failed to post about the relationship, let alone mention one another at all.

Both Rezz and Lucii have removed all Instagram photos involving each other, almost confirming the rumor that the sought-after relationship has come to an end. Social media has been relatively quiet about the possible split, perhaps because the artists have decided not to share the breakup details. However, signs of heartbreak are written between the lines of the tweets and Instagram posts, and one-by-one, fans are accepting that they’ll have to find a new favorite EDM couple.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
