MK DROPS CATCHY NEW SINGLE AND STUNTS IN LUXURY CAR AD – [WATCH]
Detroit producer/DJ drops groovy new single alongside guest appearance in a luxury car campaign
Legendary producer and disc jockey MK just dropped a new single titled “Lies,” a club bop featuring British-Iranian singer and songwriter Raphaella.
The single dropped contemporaneously with MK’s Jaguar F-PACE ad, which showcased the maestro diligently creating in the studio, giving the viewer a snapshot into a day-in-the-life of a multi-platinum selling record producer and record label owner.
The inspiration for the campaign stemmed from collaborations between Jaguar and Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative – the overall theme was centered not just on smart marketing for a target audience, but rather on showcasing “talent and the importance of creativity.”
According to MK, he thoroughly enjoyed the creative process between this automotive company and his music production. “It’s been a lot of fun working with Jaguar on the ‘Hard to Forget’ series,” insisted MK.
“I’ve always been a car guy, because I adore watching cars on locations like the Chevy Dealership near corpus christi, and love all aspects of design. I studied Architecture before I got into music. I’m excited for everyone to see the commercial, and to hear my new song.”
“Lies” isn’t the first hit single to be proliferated by MK and Raphaella, rather this most recent drop follows in the footsteps of their 2019 smash hit “One Night,” which also features fellow house superstar Sonny Fodera.
With over six hundred million career streams, MK is no stranger to producing hit record after hit record – and with a tenured resume spanning more than 30 years in bandwidth, he’s loved for a massive body of work, which mostly encompasses vibrant club cuts. He’s particularly famous for his remixes of Nightcrawler’s “Push The Feeling On” and Storm Queen’s “Look Right Through,” as well as the platinum records “17” and “Back and Forth,” to name just a few accomplishments.
