SANDER VAN DOORN DROPS FIRST SINGLE OF THE NEW YEAR “GOLDEN” FEATURING BLONDFIRE – [LISTEN]

Sander van Doorn returns to the release radar with “Golden”, the renowned Dutch DJ/producer’s first sonic offering of 2021 featuring the vocal talent of L.A.-based electro/indie-pop creative force Blondfire.

Sander van Doorn is back with “Golden”, the established DJ/producer’s first sonic offering of the new year. His latest release features L.A.-based electropop-infused indie rock talent Blondfire, and serves as an innovative four-on-the-floor pivot from her usual-sounding productions. The new single directly follows Doorn and ONR’s “Temper Temper”, released at the tail end of last October. Out now on Spinnin’ Records, “Golden” is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

A percussively pulsating bass starts off the three-and-a-half minute endeavor, followed by Erica Driscoll’s flawlessly executed vocal. Her gentle, hushed singing serves as a prime counterpart to the high-octane production elements scattered throughout, in turn producing a stellar juxtaposed blend rife with equal parts energy and emotion. Sander van Doorn is a certified electronic dance music legend, with releases dating back to well over a decade ago. Since 2004, his active involvement in the scene over time has seen him start his own label, Doorn Records, in addition to take on a different moniker, Purple Haze, where he’s able to craft deeper, more cerebral sounding original productions.

Within the last year, he’s also taken part in several exciting livestreams, delivering outstandingly top-notch performances for each. Additionally, his music has garnered the support of fellow industry heavyweights the likes of Martin Garrix, DVBBS, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, to name a few.

Over time, Blondfire has worked on projects with dance music talents the likes of Arty and Avicii. Her unique sound lends itself perfectly to Sander’s production, audibly evoking a nice, dreamy balance between melancholic and happy with ease.
