SAN HOLO’S FORTHCOMING ALBUM HAS ‘SPECIAL CREATIVE PROCESS’- [READ]

DUTCH DJ TEASES FANS WITH PROMISE OF ALBUM DROP

San Holo, known to his friends and family as, Sander van Dijck, is a unique and refreshing musician, disk jockey, and producer from a small municipality in the Western Netherlands called in Zoetermeer. San initially attracted attention for his re-imagination of of Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode”, which amassed more than 200 million views on YouTube.

But more than just attracting attention, San has kept the focus, making sure to proliferate nothing less than stylized, introspective, and light music. Whether it’s festivals or music releases, San is top of his class in terms of electronic dance music.

When promoting his forthcoming album “BB U OK?”, set to release May 2nd 2021, San actively took to social media to engage with his platform. Diving into the inspiration behind the album, San wrote via Instagram, “i got to make songs with artists that i truly look up to. like the song i wrote with Rivers Cuomo of Weezer… i used to be teaching Weezer songs to kids as a guitar teacher back in the days… crazy.

“The entire situation makes me feel nostalgic. and getting to write a song with American Footbal was unreal, their music holds such a special place in my heart.”

“Haha i don’t wanna get too sentimental here rn but yeah this album means a lot to me.” San went on to further say, “i’ll be showing and telling you more and more of the creative process as we’re getting closer to the release date,” making further promises to engage with avid fans.

With the promise of what will undoubtably be an incredible album, we wish him great success, expressionism, and joy, for may cannot come soon enough.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.

What's your reaction?
