NORA EN PURE KICKS OFF 2021 WITH NEW ‘MONSOON’ EP – [LISTEN]

Queen of deep house, Nora En Pure, releases a three-track EP that’s just what we need for the new year.

Normally we would expect festival season to start picking up soon, but unfortunately, that is not likely to begin anytime soon. However, this means that artists have been able to stay inside and focus on making the best music possible. Nora En Pure clearly illustrates this concept with the release of her exciting new EP, ‘Monsoon’.

Staying true to her roots, Nora En Pure delivers three songs that have a strong melodic force underneath some pillowy chords and enchanting drums. Somehow managing to make listeners feel relaxed and energized at the same time, she continues to grow her ever-expanding fanbase.

The DJ/producer has developed a sound that transports people from their homes to a club in Ibiza, dancing until the sun rises.

Nora En Pure was born in South Africa and now resides in Switzerland as she frequently works with the record label Enormous Tunes as well as her own imprint, Purified Records. Having been in the music industry for over 10 years, Nora En Pure has been able to hone her sound to be one of the leading of the deep house genre. While the genre is not something entirely new, she has been able to utilize natural sounds and vocal samples to make herself stand out amongst other producers.

Last year, we had the pleasure of interviewing Nora En Pure. The acclaimed DJ spoke on her experience as a female DJ in a male-dominated field. “Most important point is to make it about your music and craft,” says Nora En Pure. Her skills as a producer and DJ continue to place her at the forefront of the electronic music realm.

After having a steady release of singles through 2020, it was so nice to finally get a small project from the South-African/Swiss DJ. Some of her singles, like “Wetlands,” “Come Away,” and “Enchantment” made large waves in the electronic music community last year as they continued to show her prowess in the deep house genre. With new tracks on the ‘Monsoon’ EP being so captivating, it’s certain that Nora En Pure is set to have another monumental year.
