BLACK COFFEE RELEASES HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED 12-TRACK ALBUM ‘SUBCONSCIOUSLY’ – [LISTEN]

Black Coffee releases his much-anticipated sixth full-length studio album “Subconsciously”.

Renowned South African talent Black Coffee is back on the release radar, less than a month out from his critically-acclaimed collaborative release “Never Gonna Forget” alongside Diplo and Elderbrook. His latest sonic offering is the highly-anticipated studio album ‘Subconsciously’, marking the esteemed DJ/producer’s sophomore release of 2021, in addition to his sixth album overall. Out now on Ultra Records, the 12-track release is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

The album immediately kicks off with Black Coffee, DJ Angelo, and Jinadu’s “Lost”, setting forth a propulsive, atmospherically entrancing ambiance for the rest of the album to follow. Worth highlighting on the album is “Time”, boasting a flowing vocal from U.S. pop star Cassie. Her melodious delivery pairs flawlessly with the driving techno beat and overall propelling tone of the tune.

“LaLaLa” with Usher is also a noteworthy track, prominently featuring the U.S. pop/R&B super star’s rich, soulful vocal throughout its approximately three-and-a-half minute runtime, leaving the listener wanting even more from the duo.

“Drive” with David Guetta and Delilah Montagu is also worth mentioning, serving as a harmonious blend of all three musicians’ unique signature sounds. In all, the album features several emotionally-charged, groove-inducing standouts like this, and marks a career-defining point for the South African artist.
