Earlier in January, the legendary deadmau5, captain of mau5trap radio, partnered with the popular sleep app named “Calm,” a brand dedicated to mental wellness and meditative recuperation, thoughtfulness, and mindfulness. As Apple’s 2017 iPhone App of the Year and one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2020, Calm is a force to be reckoned with in tech, with over 100 million downloads to date and over 4 million paying members.

In terms of deadmau5‘s involvement, his partnership sponsors an electronic mau5trap special set titled “flow and focus,” which streams relaxing soft house on loop for those seeking relaxing melodies plus a steady beat. For EDM lovers, it’s the perfect way to unwind after a long, stressful day of Covid-era, quarantine-oriented shenanigans.

Known to friends and family as Joel Zimmerman, deadmau5 is a worldwide superstar in terms of music production and prolificacy. The GRAMMY-nominated and Juno-award-winning artist has a lengthy list of accomplishments, the latest of which include work featuring artists like Rob Swire (“Monophobia”), Lights (“Drama Free”), Shotty Horroh, and much more.
