Following a debut album that shifted the entire culture of electronic music, Porter Robinson reveals the intimate follow up ‘Nuture’ nearly a decade later

Widely recognized icon Porter Robinson has spent nearly a year teasing the upcoming release of his sophomore album, ‘Nurture’. The slow album rollout has seen the release of four lead singles including “Get Your Wish”, “Something Comforting”, “Mirror“, and now “Look At The Sky”.

In previously released statements, Porter has confessed the insane amount of pressure he felt to make something that people connected with as much as ‘Worlds’. After much anticipation and wonder, Porter has finally announced that his sophomore album will be released on April 23, 2021. The announcement comes in conjunction with the release of the fourth lead single, “Look At The Sky”.

Originally debuted during his Secret Sky livestream event, “Look At The Sky” quickly became one of the most anticipated ID’s of the year.  In true Porter Robinson fashion, the single features an uplifting and euphoric soundscape with yearning vocals from Porter himself. The track reveals a glimpse into the struggle Porter faced while creating the new album with the focal lyrics, “I can make something good”.

Porter recently described the album as “my favorite music i’ve ever made. i’m so so fucking grateful for the extra time… the album (and me) have both benefitted so much”. Although fans have been eagerly awaiting the album’s release, the extra time is sure to result in some incredibly powerful tracks.
