SUB FOCUS OFFERS EXHILARATING REMIX TO CAMELPHAT AND LOWES’ “EASIER” – [LISTEN]

Following a stunning remix from MK and a special acoustic version of the track, CamelPhat and Lowes unveil a tasteful “Easier” rework by Sub Focus.

Alongside Lancaster band Lowes, iconic DJ and producer duo CamelPhat has released the third rework of their sensational hit, “Easier”. The original track was featured on CamelPhat’s monumental debut album ‘Dark Matter’ and has since been a fan favorite.

The relaxed acoustic rendition peels back the production and hones in on various key instrumental elements of the tune. Unlike MK’s house spin on the track, Sub Focus’ version boasts a hefty bassline. The new remix is laden with waves of euphoria that transport listeners to a blissful dreamscape.

Sub Focus effortlessly adapts “Easier” into an intoxicating melody by infusing his own energy while allowing the focus to remain on Lowes’ captivating vocal piece. The drum ‘n’ bass legend molded the soundscape to fit his signature style and breathe new life into the song.

CamelPhat plans to embark on their biggest ever UK headline tour this year, already selling upwards of 20k tickets. The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum pair will bring their sought-after sound to Liverpool, Bristol, Glasgow, Newcastle, and Leeds before closing out the tour with a historic performance at London’s The SSE Arena Wembley on April 17th, becoming the first house music act to ever headline the venue.

One of the most in-demand dance music acts globally, CamelPhat enjoys continued success as they sell out shows and drop bangers. The two first made their impression in 2017 with their Grammy-nominated hit “Cola,” marking a turning point for electronic music. In recent years, they’ve released show-stoppers like “Hypercolour” with Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis, “Breathe,” “For A Feeling” with Artbat, “Be Someone” alongside Jake Bugg, and “Panic Room” with Au/Ra.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
