BLACK COFFEE, DIPLO, AND ELDERBROOK COME TOGETHER ON “NEVER GONNA FORGET” – [LISTEN]

What do you get when you cross a legendary house producer, superstar DJ, and a playful, soft-spoken vocalist? A track that is bound to end up on everyone’s rotation.

Black Coffee has been releasing a steady stream of singles leading up to his highly anticipated forthcoming album, ‘Subconsciously’. As the sixth and final installment of singles, Black Coffee knew that a star-studded collaboration would be the perfect bridge to the release of his project.

Black Coffee’s upcoming album is set to be a big release for the EDM community. With the pandemic not allowing artists to tour, many have been able to focus on producing new music. Black Coffee used this opportunity to collaborate with superstars to make a project worth looking forward to. His recently released singles are all charting as his most popular tracks and feature icons such as Pharrell Williams, Celeste, and Maxine Ashley

Tapping Diplo to collaborate on the production of this track was a fantastic move by Black Coffee. Diplo, born Thomas Wesley Pentz, has managed to stay successful during these trying times by evolving with the situation and leading the charge of at-home concerts with his weekly live streams that continue to be a success.

Diplo has also been keeping busy in recent times by releasing an eclectic array of projects that vary from country to ambient to dancehall. Seeming as if the man does not sleep, the three full-length projects highlight the versatility that he can bring to the table.

The vocals on this track are done by Elderbrook, a British singer-songwriter who has managed to become a memorable voice in the electronic music scene. Having received millions of streams on some of his biggest tracks like “Cola” and “Why Do We Shake in the Cold”, Elderbrook has established himself as the go-to voice for light-hearted tracks like this.

“Never Gonna Forget” is a song that brings an automatic smile to listeners. With the winter times being cold and bleak for many, this track transports listeners to a time when the summer warmth comforted us at our favorite concerts. It’s easy to get lost in the melody and envision waves crashing at your favorite beach which makes it the perfect track to lead into Black Coffee’s ‘Subconsciously’
