PORTER ROBINSON ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE “LOOK AT THE SKY” FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM -[READ]

Amidst a string of singles featured on his forthcoming album, ‘Nurture’, Porter Robinson finally shares a release date for his latest track “Look at the Sky”.

In a recent social media post, Porter Robinson announced that his next song titled “Look at the Sky” will be released on January 27, 2021. This release will follow his relatively recent masterpieces, “Mirror”, “Something Comforting”, and “Get Your Wish” which are also expected to be featured on the album.

The artist directs fans to pre-save the track which will be available across multiple streaming platforms. Anyone who pre-saves the track will automatically be entered to win one of five signed vinyl copies of  “Look at the Sky” on the release date.

In late December, Porter announced the completion of his second album along with its title, ‘Nurture’. This news undoubtedly stirred discussion and has given fans even more reason to get excited about the future of the Porter Robinson project.  If it’s anything like his debut, breakout album ‘Worlds’ which was introduced way back in 2014, we all need to mentally prepare for this emotional rollercoaster.

One fan pointed out on Twitter that Porter had alluded to this new track all the way back in May of last year. “Look at the Sky” may be news to fans, but the artist has clearly had big plans for this one for a while now.

Porter Robinson is easily one of the most influential electronic artists to ever hit the scene. He is also the mastermind behind the monumental Virtual Self project that took off in 2017. In 2019, Porter Robinson curated his very own festival, Second Sky Music Festival which returned as a live stream event in 2020.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
