The song leads in with a powerful guitar riff as RØRY’s angelic vocals tell a familiar story. Tension builds as it transforms into an explosive drop, marked by MitiS’ signature melodic sound. At its core, “Try” is a raw exhibition of the ups and downs of love.

Joseph Torre a.k.a. MitiS, was trained as a classical pianist from a young age. Since 2012, he has been honing in on his piano-driven melodic bass style. His latest offering, “Try,” certainly fits right in at Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records, to which MitiS is no stranger.

Boasting millions of streams across all platforms, MitiS has built a loyal fan base through the years. With the support of his fans, the artist has been able to grow his platform to have a global reach. Aside from his production mastery, he performs a unique live set that integrates his production chops and piano roots. This manifestation embodies a fusion of his early music endeavors and his current vision of musical composition.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
