DISCLOSURE AND KID STUDIO DROP LIVELY PARTY-INSPIRED MUSIC VIDEO FOR “WATCH YOUR STEP” FEAT. KELIS

UK duo Disclosure has had quite the year with their newest album, Energy, receiving a well-deserved GRAMMY nomination. One of the leading tracks off Disclosure’s latest album is the groovy track “Watch Your Step”, which features the legendary artist Kelis tapping into her best self. Best known for her early 2000s hits, ‘Milkshake’ and ‘Got Ur Money’ Feat. Ol’ Dirty Bastard of Wu-Tang Clan, Kelis returns to form with another infectious, danceable hit.

Following the release of Energy, Disclosure teamed up with the brilliant Kid Studio to deliver music videos for “Birthday”, “ENERGY”, and now “Watch Your Step”. The latest music video focuses on Filipinos living their best life — partying and dancing while enjoying lumpia, adobo, and pancit canton. Take a look below!

Kelis’ sound, a unique combination of dance and R&B, excels with house super-duo Disclosure. Her tantalizing vocals, “You make me watch your step when you move,” effortlessly glide across the unparalleled groovy soundscape from Disclosure. The ever-talented director Kid Studio uses innate visual editing to emphasize the feet of the young, dancing boy.

Alongside a masterful album rollout, they have managed to stay within the spotlight for the duration of 2020. Whereas most artists are forgotten by the subsequent Friday, Disclosure released two singles, an EP, album, deluxe album and special edition over the course of the year. Additional visual appearances from the duo included performances on Cercle, Boiler Room, various livestreams, and numerous music videos that capitalized on the highly-anticipated album.
