NGHTMRE REMIXES ZHU’S “I ADMIT IT” FEAT. 24KGOLDN INTO A BASS-TRAP ANTHEM

Coming off an iconic B2B performance aboard the U.S.S. HORNET for Brownies & Lemonade x Proximity’s Digital Mirage Friendsgiving, NGHTMRE returns with a loaded remix of ZHU‘s hit track featuring 24kGoldn “I Admit It,” which premiered during ZHU’s fashion show. Both artists’ sharp ascension within the electronic music community has led to multiple collaborations over the last 3 years  — NGHTMRE remixed Ekali and ZHU’s 2018 single, “Blame,” and joined forces with ZHU on 2019’s “Man’s First Inhibition” ft. Kidd Keem.

Since then, they have both continued to expand their impact across genres with tracks alongside Tame Impala, A$AP Ferg, Dillon Francis, and many more. When addressing their continued success, NGHTMRE says, “ZHU is one of my personal favorite artists and it’s always dope working with him. He has an amazing vision for what he wants and always makes it happen.”

NGHTMRE transformed “I Admit It” into a bass-trap banger that forces listeners to hit rewind. The intro synthesizes and filters in 24kGoldn’s vocals, which are reminiscent of vintage Daft Punk. ZHU’s melodic, progressive dance pre-drop adds claps and high-frequency fillers. NGHTMRE takes advantage of the opportunity to infuse the massive drop with his signature sound — a trap, dubstep hybrid bassline and kick drum. The second drop returns with melodic undertones and eases the listener into an outro — effectively leaving us wanting more.

Lending his own flair to the track, NGHTMRE’s remix lets the listener experience the track in a reimagined way. The unstoppable remix for “I Admit It” earned its placement as #2 Exron Music’s Top Charts this week! Take a listen below!
