RANGER TRUCCO IS NEXT UP IN TECH HOUSE WITH DEBUT EP ‘TIFFANY’ – [LISTEN]
A rising talent in the Tech House genre is none other than Ranger Trucco, a 20-year-old DJ/Producer from Traverse City, Michigan who now resides in Los Angeles, California. He spent a year honing his skills as a disc jockey by spinning tracks for fraternities at the University of Oregon. After gaining some traction on campus, he left Eugene to attend Icon Collective in Los Angeles to learn from the producers who taught NGHTMRE, Jauz, and even the late I_O.
Trucco was recently selected from Space Yacht’s “Tune Reactor” to be apart of their highly appreciated show, Tech My House. Soon after, he even received the stamp of approval from house legend AC Slater, who recently had him on this year’s Night Bass Freshman Compilation. Trucco has now signed with Space Yacht’s newly-developed record label and just released his first EP titled, “Tiffany”.
Trucco’s beginnings were not easy, but he received an omen that changed his career while he was flipping burgers at Shake Shack. “One day during a shift, a co-worker I had never met before told me to go on my break and was wearing a Space Yacht mask. I took it as a sign and sent Space Yacht a playlist of some tunes. I ended up getting booked off of Tune Reactor on the spot for Tech My House and now have the honor of releasing this EP on their new label.”
Following Tiffany, Ranger Trucco will release his single “Sunday Best” in January via Space Yacht’s inaugural ‘Tech My House compilation,’ which will celebrate the collective’s six-year anniversary. In February, you can then expect his standalone single, “Pretty Girls.”
